Designer And Unique Pieces From Local Consignors
As Well As Items From Shopping Trips
“These are great clothes! I can’t believe they are consigned,” and “This is a beautiful shop!” are the two most common comments from first time customers of Crave Consignment Shop in Uptown Evergreen™ in the King Soopers shopping center just four minutes from I-70 off Evergreen Parkway. With items from classic designers such as Kay Unger, Ralph Lauren, St. John and Ann Taylor and trendy/funky designers such as Free People, Custo, Desiguel and White House Black Market, customers find something they crave.
Crave was designed by owner Jennifer Herrick to be a unique, fun shopping experience - from the uncluttered and organized layout to the customer service inclusive of offering a glass of wine and giving an honest opinion. “I like customers to know when something just isn’t flattering on them. Sometimes they are a little shocked at my honesty but always appreciative knowing that when they wear their new clothes they look great,” says Jennifer.
“I’ve had many customers who have never shopped consignment and are now hooked. I am very picky about the quality.” Women soon learn that Crave is the place to find new and nearly new, unique clothing, shoes, purses, scarves and jewelry at great prices which start at 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail price and drop 25% after 30 days and 50% after 60 days.
A common sight in the shop is moms having fun shopping with their teenage to twenty-something daughters or friends shopping after they have just met for lunch. And the younger children watch movies while their moms try on clothes.
Crave is actively seeking local clothing and jewelry designers to consign their unique creations in the shop. Non-profits may also have their members consign items as a fund-raiser for their organizations.
