We are very particular in the items we accept. Our customers’ preference is our guideline. Please don’t be offended if we don’t take your things. We appreciate your loyalty but only have so much space to display items.
Clothing and accessories (jewelry, purses, scarves, shoes) must either be designer or trendy labels. If not, they must be unique and interesting. We consign high quality, unique handcrafted clothing, accessories and jewelry, too. We accept juniors and ladies sizes 0-18. All clothing must be no more than three years old, in flawless condition, freshly cleaned and on hangers, which will be returned. If we later discover a stain or flaw missed at intake, we will donate your item without notice.
Under no circumstances will we accept faux/knock-off designer items. If we later discover your item is faux, it will be donated without notice.
We accept spring/summer items from March 1st through August 15th and fall/winter items from August 30th through February 15th.
We take consignments Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If you can’t make it during those hours, we will make arrangements for another time. No appointment is necessary but you should call before you bring in items to assure the owner, Jennifer Herrick, is there and that we are not too busy with customers. After your account is established, you may drop off items during regular business hours. We will call you after we examine the items. If they are "no thank you" items, you will have 48 hours to pick them up or we will donate them.
We will price your items. Our guideline is approximately 1/3 of retail.
The consignment period is 90 days. There are two markdowns during that period: 25% after one month and 50% after two months. You will receive 40% of the selling price exclusive of any sale or promotion of up to 20%. A check will be issued within one month of the end of the consignment period. Remember, Crave pays for all advertising. It is expensive but important to get people to the shop to buy your items.
We are not liable for theft or damage of your items.
Please note the date on your contract as you are responsible for picking up any remaining items at the end of your consignment period. If you do not pick them up within two weeks, we will donate them.
